I Miss Traveling is a sketchbook of imagined airplane trajectories. Using only three colors—blue for the plane, grey for its path, and red for the origin point—each drawing traces a motion. The simplicity of line and repetition gives form to distance and the feeling of waiting to depart. Made with stencils, the work sketches conditions for, or possibly dismantles that impulse to travel, suggesting that the origin, so often overlooked, might be its own destination.
